Sleeping on a new cartilage piercing is one of the main reasons it gets sore, swollen or heals at an angle. This piercing pillow lets you sleep on your side with your ear in the gap, so nothing presses on it.
It's made for healing helix, flat, conch, tragus and high lobe piercings, from our piercing studio in Liverpool.
Why use a piercing pillow?
A normal pillow presses and rubs on a fresh piercing all night. That pressure can cause swelling, irritation and wonky angles. A piercing pillow takes the pressure off, so your piercing can heal without being pushed around.

Your questions, answered
How do I sleep with a new helix or cartilage piercing?
Lay your ear in the centre gap so your ear floats and nothing presses on the piercing. Use it on a flat surface, not on top of another pillow, so the pillow underneath doesn't push up through the hole.
Will it work for my piercing?
The split design reshapes to fit any placement: helix, flat, conch, tragus and more. Overlap the split for more height, or widen it if you've got two piercings healing on opposite sides of your ear.
Do I need it for my lobe piercings?
If it's a high lobe or a third lobe, yes. They sit higher up, on the outer edge of your ear, so they take the pressure when you sleep on that side.
How long should I use it?
Until your piercing is fully healed. For cartilage that's usually around 6 to 12 months. Your piercer can tell you when it's healed.
Can I wash it?
Yes. The cover is delicate, so hand wash it. Unzip it, wash it in cool water with a gentle detergent, then press the water out (don't wring it). Leave it to air dry flat before zipping it back on.
