Second-Hand Treasures and a Great Cause: Our Charity Day Sale for Breast Cancer Awareness Month
From pumpkin spice latte’s to new in knitwear, it’s easy to get caught up in cosy season when it hits October 1st. We’re all here for it, but it’s not just about falling leaves and autumn layers as October is also Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
WHY THIS MONTH MATTERS
Held every October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month is an opportunity to increase awareness of breast cancer and its symptoms and to show support to and remember those who’s lives have been touched by this disease. It’s so important to raise awareness and educate ourselves on breast cancer and its symptoms to encourage early detection, provide support, and raise funds for research into prevention, diagnosis, and treatment.
WHAT WE’VE DONE IN THE PAST
Breast Cancer Awareness Month is something we want to mark every year and in the past we’ve:
- Held a fundraising day at the HUB where everyone who had booked an appointment got to have a go at our gumball machine for £1
- Pierced with pink jewellery and our team got pierced too!
- Launched pretty pink collections to mark Breast Cancer Awareness Month
This year is no different and we’re so excited to host an event to fundraise for another wonderful breast cancer charity and that we know our community will love!
SAVE THE DATE: CHARITY DAY SALE
This year to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month, we wanted to host an event where you can have fun and meet new people whilst knowing you’re helping make a difference. So join us on Sunday 26th October from 11am - 4pm for our Charity Sale Day as we turn the HUB into the ultimate second-hand haven.
WHAT TO EXPECT?
30 Minute Time Slots
The HUB is small but mighty, so to make sure you have the best shopping experience we’ll have half an hour time slots throughout the day for you to peruse the goodies on offer. There’ll be 6 spaces per time slot, so if you want to bring friends or family make sure you get your tickets together!
Shop for a Cause
We’ll be selling a variety of clothing, accessories, and cosmetics so there’s something for everyone.
Walk-In Piercing
For one day only, we’ll be offering walk-in piercing so you can shop until you drop and treat yourself to a new addition to your stack.
Raffle & Spin the Wheel
Buy a raffle ticket for a chance to win one of Jamie’s handbags (she has the best collection) or test your luck with spin the wheel to win a gift from us to you.
Fundraise for a Charity
From entry and raffle tickets to piercings and spin the wheel, every penny made on the day will go to a breast cancer charity to support patients, vital research and care.

We can’t wait for our Charity Day Sale and are honoured to be able to host an event like this one to show our support for Breast Cancer Awareness Month. We’ve already been rooting through our wardrobes and drawers to find pieces that we adore but don’t wear or use and are ready to pass on to someone who’ll give them the attention they deserve!
